If you want 7 wines for seduction, this Valentine's Day read on...
It seems that this Valentine’s Day will be extra special, with more freedom and choice. If you want to go out, restaurants will be delighted to see you. If you want to get loved up at home, then stay in. It’s all about choice, isn’t it?
And at Molloys we have lots to help you celebrate...
Pouilly-Fuisse Seduction this is a superb elegant white wine, from Burgundy. Rich, slightly creamy, long-lasting citrus and buttery notes. Very much admired and highly rated on Vivino.
Whispering Angel Rosé is probably the top choice when it comes to Rosé; perfect for celebrating special occasions.
San Valentin White – is a go-to perennial favourite for lovers. It’s a crisp, modern, fruity Spanish white.
Fabula Carinena shows a heart on its label showing the region’s love of this grape variety. It’s more graphic than romantic, perhaps suited to someone with medical training? Nonetheless, it’s a cracker of a wine – a full bodied Spanish red, grippy and bursting with ripe fruit.
Las Moras Dada No. 8 Chocolat – chocolate is simple and always sexy. Pair it with a glass of Dada Chocolat, for an easy, loved-up evening.
And for sparkling wines:
Baglietti Spumante Prosecco is perfect for those who love a bit of bling. Choose either the white, or the Rosé version (which happens to be organic too!).
Champagne says it all, although some are better than others. We heartily (boom-boom) recommend our own Jean Comyn Champagne, which has super-fine bubbles, exploding throughout, and generous flavours of fresh-baked biscuit and bread. Absolutely divine!
