This single malt was first matured in American Oak giving it its full bodied and honey profile. Then, it was finished in a French Oak barrel infused with the finest Bordeaux wine from its initial use. This French barrel was then taken through the N.E.O.C process to offer a virgin oak base to further maturation. N.E.O.C gives the whiskey a ‘New Oak’ style spice working in harmony with notes of dried fruits echoing of the barrels Bordeaux wine lineage. This unique single malt highlights the best traits
of two different species of oak.
