Teeling Small Batch Glass Pack Burgundy Metal Tin 70cl

Teeling's new Christmas gift pack puts a 70cl bottle of Teeling Small Batch and two Teeling whiskey glasses inside a burgundy metal tin, embossed in gold with the Teeling phoenix and "The Spirit of Dublin". The tin looks great under the tree and is worth keeping long after the bottle is finished.

Teeling Small Batch is the whiskey that put the Teeling Whiskey Company on the map. It's a blend of hand-selected grain and malt whiskeys, first fully aged in ex-bourbon barrels and then married together in Central American rum casks for up to 12 months. The rum finish gives it a sweet, smooth and slightly woody character that's unusual in Irish whiskey. It's bottled at 46% with no chill filtration, so it keeps its full flavour and texture.

TASTING NOTES:

• Nose: vanilla and spice with bright, sweet notes of rum.
• Palate: smooth and sweet with a gentle woodiness, dried fruit and a hint of exotic fruit.
• Finish: sweet and spicy, with lingering woody notes.
