Rich, warm, smooth, full-bodied yet very elegant balanced red.  Dried red and black berries, kirsch, chocolate, light perfume of flowers and sweet and savoury spices.  Made by re-fermenting Valpolicella Classico over Amarone skins for 9 days. Aged for 12 months in old oak barrels.       

Fantastic with a full-flavoured meat dish, or equally good with blue cheese.
