TASTING NOTE: Dry, with complex rich long-lasting flavours of toasted hazelnut and almond, and dried fruits (sultana, raisin) and the flavour (but not sweetness) of cooked sugar/caramel.     Lustau is one of the very best producers.    

FOOD MATCH: Excellent with cured ham (Serrano, Parma), and hard cheese served with nuts and dried fruits. Also worth a try with spicy Asian dishes.
