Faustino Rivero Ulecia Nostalgia is a Rioja Oriental red made from Tempranillo and Garnacha grown around Arnedo. The Tempranillo spends six months in new American oak, while the Garnacha is aged for a year in French oak vats before blending and bottle ageing.

Cherry red with brick highlights, showing wild red and black fruits, vanilla, liquorice and spice. The palate is warm and rounded with cherry liqueur, toasted notes and a floral, balsamic finish.

Food match: Roast meats, traditional stews and mild cured cheeses.
