Blended from rums aged up to eight years in ex-bourbon casks, Diplomatico Reserva is a blend of pot and lighter column still rums, with some of the pot still rum being distilled from sugar cane honey. For an eight year old rum this has a great deal of complexity, making it ideal to use both in cocktails and as a sipping rum.
