Cockburns Special Reserve Port Glass Pack

Cockburn’s Special Reserve Port Glass Pack – The World’s No.1 Reserve Port, Gift-Ready

A classic port gift in Cockburn’s bold red presentation box: one 75cl bottle of Cockburn’s Special Reserve Port with two branded Cockburn’s port glasses, ready to pour straight from the box.

First introduced in 1969, Special Reserve bridged the gap between vintage port and younger rubies, and became the benchmark for the Reserve Port category. Cockburn’s was founded in 1815 by Scottish brothers Robert and John Cockburn, and the house still selects wines for their richness and concentration from the finest vineyards of the Upper Douro. Special Reserve is matured in oak vats for up to four years before bottling, which gives it a full body and its signature dry, peppery finish.

• Colour: Garnet red.
• Nose: Rich, concentrated red fruit, led by bright red cherry with hints of plum and strawberry.
• Palate: Sweet and well rounded, with luscious red berry flavours.
• Finish: Distinctive, peppery and slightly dry.
• Serve: At room temperature or slightly chilled. Lovely with cheese, or with rich, nutty or chocolate desserts. Once opened, enjoy within four to six weeks.
