Clos de St. Yves Savennieres
A richly-textured, flavoursome dry white wine, with layers of stony/chalkiness, lemon and lime and a note of honey which will increase as the wine matures. It's made from Chenin Blanc in the Loire Valley. This family estate prefers to let the 'terroir' shine through, and avoid use of oak. Fantastic with scallops, rich white fish dishes, and poultry.
