Chateau Mauvesin Barton Moulis en Medoc 2015
Rich, full-flavoured wine from a superb vintage. Spicy, bright red fruits, medium bodied with a cranberry, cigar and cherry finish. This wine is delicious now, and will continue to reward for up to 10 years from the vintage. This estate was bought by Lilian Barton in 2011. The Bartons are one of the leading wine families in Bordeaux, making Ch. Leoville Barton and Langoa Barton. Her father, Anthony Barton was born in Straffan House in Kildare, and Lilian travels on an Irish passport. The barrels for this wine were used to age the prestigious Chateau Leoville Barton.
