Eight Degrees The Full Irish Single Malt IPA 6% - 440ml Can

Eight Degrees The Full Irish began as a one-off festival beer in 2014 and was such a hit it never left the line-up. It's a single malt IPA built on 100% Irish pale malt, grown in Ireland and malted in Cork, then loaded with Simcoe, Cascade, Citra and Amarillo hops. The result is a hoppy fruit bomb: grapefruit, lime, melon and lychee over a biscuity malt base, with a rounded bitter-sweet finish.

TASTING NOTES: Pale gold with a bright white head. A big citrus and floral hop nose led by grapefruit, with lime, melon and lychee behind. Juicy hop fruit on the palate, a biscuity malt body, and a firm but rounded bitterness that leaves a lingering malt sweetness.

FOOD PAIRING: Grilled fish, barbecued chicken kebabs or spicy piri-piri prawns. The hops cut nicely through smoked duck, and it's a surprisingly good match for carrot cake.
