Bushmills Causeway 2002 Vermouth 70cl

The 2002 Vermouth Cask is a limited edition rare 48.2% ABV Cask Strength Single Malt Irish Whiskey, distilled in 2002, matured for over 18 years in Oloroso Sherry and Bourbon casks, then re-casked in October 2020 and matured for a further just under 2 years in Vermouth casks.

French Oak casks used to mature Dry Vermouth from the Piedmont region in Italy.
A world first release for Irish Whiskey, the Vermouth cask imparts rose petal and gentle herbaceous notes to add new layers of flavour to the sweet dried fruit Bushmills Malt character blended especially for this cask.

Deep gold in colour, with sweet vanilla spice and floral aromas on the nose give way to honey married with mandarin orange, dried fruit and roasted almond, leading to a long, dry fruitcake finish.
