Valderivero Rueda Verdejo

Valderivero Rueda Verdejo is a crisp, refreshing Spanish white from DO Rueda, the home of Verdejo. It is made by the Rivero family of Marqués del Atrio, a winemaking family since 1899, and sits alongside the Valderivero Crianza and Joven reds already in our range.

The 100% Verdejo grapes come from high vineyards at 700 to 800 metres, planted on stony, limestone-rich soils that keep the wine fresh and focused. They are picked at night to protect their aromas and fermented cool in stainless steel. Pale straw in colour with bright green glints, it offers a lively balance of fresh fruit and the gentle herbal lift Verdejo is known for. The palate is light, fresh and dry, with a clean, persistent finish.

Food pairing: Ideal with seafood, prawns and grilled fish, salads, goat’s cheese, tapas and Mediterranean dishes, or simply as an aperitif. Serve well chilled at around 6–8°C.
