Claude Val Rosé
Claude Val Rosé is a bright, dry rosé from the south of France, available exclusively at Molloys. It comes from Domaines Paul Mas, one of the Languedoc’s most respected family producers, and joins the popular Claude Val Blanco in our range, taking over from Terrasses du Moulinas as our house French rosé.
A blend of Grenache, Cinsault and Syrah from sustainably farmed Languedoc vineyards, it is made from free-run and first-press juice and rested on its fine lees for extra roundness. In the glass it is a pale cherry pink, with floral, cherry and red-berry aromas. The palate is fresh and juicy, with red-fruit and raspberry flavours, a smooth, rounded texture and a clean, fruity finish.
Food pairing: Lovely on its own as an aperitif, or with salads, antipasti and charcuterie, grilled fish and prawns, pizza, Asian dishes and soft cheeses. Serve chilled at around 8–10°C.
