Domaine Caude Val Merlot
TASTING NOTES: Wonderful intense smoky aromas, with concentrated blackberry, spice and vanilla flavours. Smooth, with good body. This Merlot, in particular, surprised us with its quality; being Bordeaux-like - good for drinking with food or on its own as an informal tipple.
FOOD MATCH: Great with a casserole and barbecued burgers, chops and steaks with all the trimmings.
