14% ABV Tempranillo 75cl
Description

If you like Amarone and Ripasso wines, you will like this! Full-bodied, smooth and warm, with jammy black and red fruits, nutmeg, oak and vanilla. Long, fruit-filled finish.

Food match:  Savour this with rich roast meats, or let it be the star, paired with some blue cheese.

The region of Carinena is midway between Rioja and the coastal Penedes region, southwest of Zaragoza. The combination of higher altitude and sunshine gives intense flavours.   This is one of the top wines from Bodegas Paniza: a blend of 90% Tempranillo, with the balance equally split between Cabernet Sauvignon and Garnacha. Aged in American oak for 6 months before release. 1953 relates to the year the winery was established.
