Quite complex, with green fruits like pear and apple, some white flowers, and also dried fruits and a touch of spice, and saltiness. Fresh, clean finish.
Co-Operativa Vinicola del Norte d’Espana (CVNE) is one of the most revered producers in Rioja. The first bottling of this wine was in the 1920s, at the time in an Imperial measure, hence its name. It’s claimed that this is one of the first recorded white wines produced in Spain.
