An iconic Rioja Reserva, from a superb vintage. It’s a rich, complex, savoury Rioja. Laden with aromas of forest floor, tobacco pouch, wet leaves, leather, and savoury, dark fruits and cake spices. Its divine.
Co-Operativa Vinicola del Norte d’Espana (CVNE) is one of the most revered producers in Rioja. The first bottling of this wine was in the 1920s, at the time in an Imperial measure, hence its name. Drink this vintage now (it’s beautiful), or lay it down for years to come.
