Top 5 Irish Whiskeys Under €100

Whiskey or whisky or whatever way you want to spell it, is such an incredible and complex thing. It is steeped in history and made using many different ingredients, depending on the country.

The spelling of Whiskey varies depending on country. Ireland and America spell it “whiskey”; while our Scottish neighbors, Japan and Canada spell it “whisky”. Ingredients and Whiskey laws, also vary from country to country, giving each location its own distinct history, flavour and characteristics.

Irish whiskey must be made in the Republic of Ireland or Northern Ireland. It has to be aged in wooden casks for a minimum of three years. There are more rules for it to be called Irish whiskey, but I will delve into that further in future articles.

These are the top 5 Irish Whiskeys under €100 in no particular order.
